Yarnton Manor, situated in the heart of Oxfordshire, is a 17th Century Jacobean Manor House. For the first time in it’s history it is available as a wedding venue. Yarnton Manor is the ideal location for a memorable wedding day!
A perfect setting for a perfect day, Yarnton Manor is a unique wedding venue for a magical occasion. With fairytale architecture and spacious grounds, this is one of Oxfordshire’s most marvellous wedding venues to tie the knot at.
Yarnton Manor is set amongst acres of unspoilt countryside. When you chose to get married at the manor, you have the estate to yourselves. All weddings at the manor are exclusive use, giving you and your guests a fully private and tailored wedding experience.
We work alongside fabulous, supplier partners, offering you the best that Oxfordshire has to offer.
On Sunday 7th April 2019 we will be opening our doors, inviting couples to experience Yarnton Manor in all it’s glory. The Manor House and seven acres of gardens will be open for you to explore. We will also be showcasing the fantastic partners we work with. Our wedding coordinator, Michelle, will be on hand to show you around the Manor, answer all your questions and offer advice. You can book your free place on eventbrite or email email@example.com. We’re looking forward to welcoming you.
The beautiful 12th Century, St Bartholomew’s Church, is located just 20 yards from the Manor, along an avenue of lime trees. The Church can accommodate 80 -100 people and has a special atmosphere when it is filled with guests and flowers. It is possible, with permission, to be married in the Church if you are from outside of the parish. It is also possible to arrange a religious blessing in the Church following a legal ceremony elsewhere.
Even though Yarnton Manor does not have a license to hold civil ceremonies, we want to ensure couples have the wedding day they’ve dreamt of, with a celebratory ceremony held at the venue, either inside (rooms seating 6 to 80 guests) or outside in our beautiful gardens (seating up to 350 guests). This ceremony is officiated by an independent celebrant, or by a celebrant from the Oxfordshire County Council. The legal registration of the marriage has to be completed by a registrar at a register office on a separate occasion in a short and simple ‘ceremony’.
The Manor has variety of rooms for a seated wedding breakfast, ranging from intimate dining for 12 guests in the Franklin Room to 30 guests in the Morning Room and 80 guests in the traditional wooden panelled Long Gallery on the first floor. All our rooms have a unique style, with original features and beautiful detailing.
After your wedding breakfast, the Manor is the perfect place for a house party, utilising all rooms on the ground floor, with a DJ or live band, bar and chill out room.
Weddings can be complicated enough with all the budgeting and planning, and choices can sometimes be overwhelming. As part of your exclusive use package, our dedicated wedding planner will guide you through the process, recommend suppliers and be there on the day to ensure everything is runs smoothly.
