At Yarnton Manor we regularly host special events open to all.
With a unique story created specifically for the Manor, you’ll be greeted by characters to set the scene for an evening of intrigue. The guest of honour will almost certainly fail to appear – what was their fate, and more importantly which of our suspects is to blame? Then follows an evening of discovered secrets, revealing relationships and murderous motives, all uncovered by you as you interrogate the suspects. Playing detective, you’ll investigate and come up with a solution… but will you guess correctly? Ending with a dramatic denouement, your unforgettable event is guaranteed to end with a bang!
Yarnton Manor Estate includes seven acres of gardens including a large landscaped back lawn, walled garden, sunken garden, kitchen garden and lime tree avenue. We’re looking forward to welcoming over 90 classic and modern MGs to Yarnton Manor on Sunday 26th May, as part of the MG Car Club’s traditional Old Speckled Hen Run.
The run will start at Radley College, just outside Abingdon and travel through Oxfordshire countryside, before arriving at Yarnton Manor for the lunchtime stop. The tour will then return to Radley College for tea and scones.
